Sarva Rog Nashak Puja
The Sarva Rog Nashak Puja ("Destroyer of All Diseases" Puja) is a powerful Vedic healing ritual performed to alleviate chronic illnesses, restore physical strength, and invoke divine blessings for overall longevity and good health.
In Vedic tradition, severe or prolonged health issues are often believed to stem not only from physical imbalances but also from negative planetary alignments (Doshas) or accumulated karmic energies. The Sarva Rog Nashak Puja is a dedicated spiritual intervention meant to complement medical treatments.
During this puja, deities associated with ultimate health, rejuvenation, and life force—predominantly Lord Shiva (in his Mahamrityunjaya form) and Lord Dhanvantari (the divine physician and incarnation of Lord Vishnu)—are invoked. Experienced priests chant potent healing mantras and perform a sacred fire ritual (Havan), infusing the environment and the individual with therapeutic spiritual vibrations to accelerate the recovery process.

Mantra Jaap (Chanting): The priests conduct intensive recitations of powerful healing hymns, most notably the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra and the Dhanvantari Mantra.
Havan / Yajna (Fire Ritual): As depicted in the image, specific medicinal herbs, roots, ghee, and sacred wood are offered into the holy fire. The smoke generated is traditionally believed to have purifying, therapeutic properties.
Aarti & Purnahuti: Final prayers are performed to conclude the fire sacrifice, thanking the deities for absorbing the negativity and illness.
Blessings & Abhishekam Water: The energized water from the Kalash and the sacred ash (Vibhuti) from the Havan are preserved and later given to the patient to drink or apply to their body for ongoing recovery.
